I recently finished the Niroga Dynamic Mindfulness course led by Alan Delery and it was informative as well as mind-opening. I started the course with a vague understanding of what mindfulness is. I believed it was just about clearing the mind, but after being led in a short exercise I realized the strategies being taught could help with stress, anxiety, and trauma someone might be experiencing. Gaining the ability to stay centered and present is an essential tool for maintaining a healthy mind and healthy relationships.
After finishing the course I felt like I learned enough about mindfulness to be capable of leading lessons to others who might find it beneficial. The course was not difficult and I felt like it moved at a good pace to fully understand what I was being taught. Alan was able to maintain participation and made sure we all felt comfortable before moving forward. I would recommend these lessons to anyone interested in self-help and bettering your life.
