There are a number of ways you can volunteer with Positive Impact to build safe and caring communities through positive relationships.

START OR JOIN A S.T.I.N.G.

S.T.I.N.G.s are Striving to Impact Neighborhood Groups. In a STING, members determine community needs and develop action plans to address them. STINGs implement service learning projects and engage with community leaders to participate in volunteer projects.

Positive Impact is a certifying organization for the President’s Volunteer Service Award,  the premier volunteer awards program. This recognition encourages citizens and permanent residents of the United States to live a life of service.

STING members who participate in volunteer projects are eligible for the President’s Volunteer Service Award. They are awarded by the Points of Light Institute and the Corporation for National and Community Service on behalf of the President of the United States. The award recognizes the best of the American spirit and encourages all Americans to improve their communities through volunteer service and civic participation. The award is given to individuals, families, and groups that have demonstrated outstanding community service over the course of a 12-month period.

We will contact you once the form is received and get you up to date on service projects in areas near you.
