There is a story going around that I am retired. I looked up the definition of retired on my trusted phone and read, “having left one’s job and ceased to work.”
Let me be clear. I am not retired. I have not ceased to work.
As you can see on this website, of the nonprofit organization I started in 1993, I believe in a faith process that includes Vision, WORK, Rest, Accounting and Worship.
I did quit one job to continue to Work toward my Vision.
As I stated in my recently published book, He Called Me Little Rock: Reflections of a Peacemaker, I am on a vision quest. In one sense, I don’t believe in the word retire. I believe there is a time to Rest and a time to Work.
I am living.
I pray that each one of you would practice the above-mentioned life principles and never stop growing, never stop sowing, never stop producing fruit, never stop reaping your harvest.
May we all walk in God’s counsel and be like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season.

Scripture Meditation for the Day: Psalms 1:1-3
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
Thank you for your uplifting remarks. Your words bring peace in this time of turmoil.
