Know Your Brush Strokes

In our recent club meeting, Peggy introduced the group to the different brush strokes that are used in painting. As I stated in an earlier post, we already blocked in our  background colors  and were ready to add the details to our scenery. We never got to that step during this session.  I was initially disappointed because I wanted to “see my masterpiece come to life on canvas.” We were reminded of a valuable life lesson.  We first have to learn  and practice fundamentals. As you go through your life, are you rushing into things or are you being patient through the process?  We all have some masterpieces waiting to be revealed. Are you using the same brush and technique for everything you do? Be creative, learn something new and see how wonderful life can be.
