I’ve been praying Ephesians 6:10-18 at 6:10 am since God put this on my heart several months ago. We are instructed to put on the full armor of God. I’ve been stretching my faith and my body during these morning prayer sessions to prepare for my day. Every day has become a new adventure with Christ as I have been challenged to reach for His Kingdom.
When I first started doing this, in January, our world, nation and community was dealing with various crisis. What I have learned is that there really is nothing new under the sun. Every day has its own issues to deal with. That’s why we have to put on the armor of God every day. I invite you to read and meditate on Ephesians 6:10-18.
God knows what you need and He knows who needs you to share His love with them, today. Putting on the whole armor of God prepares you for whatever may come your way.
While many of us are finding ourselves having to figure new life schedules because of the Coronavirus situation, I invite you to take this time to seek first God’s kingdom and His righteousness. This is a great time to consider your priorities that are determining your decisions and the direction of your life.
Grace and peace be upon you, your family and our community today.
Amen
