Are you prepared for this hurricane season? Did you know that each day you and I have around 100 chances to choose whether to be proactive or reactive? Being proactive helps reduce stress and increases the chances for the best outcome, even in an emergency. It’s called emergency preparedness.

As a part of the “We Care” campaign, I am encouraging you to take the time to pray for your family, friends and neighbors as you plan for the future. Take time and Make a Plan.

You may also want to participate in the NOLAReady Evacuation Volunteer Training to learn how to help your neighbors and help get everyone to safety in the event of a mandatory evacuation.

Finally, if you have not already done so, I invite you to be a part of Positive Impact’s We Care Team. Together we can make a difference in our community.
